In the streets of Accra, corruption in king 

Our daily meal

The police takes their bribes, the drivers cry out

As the nation falls, it's future is lost


Beads

Their designs are inspired by nature's hue,

The colors of the sand, sea and sky

With intricate patterns that tell a story 

Of a culture that is pure and unique 


The Girl with the Golden Smile 

   In a small village nestled in the rolling hills of Ghana lived a beautiful young lady named Ama Mary. Ama was known throughout the village for her radiant smile, which could light up the darkest of rooms and bringing joy to even the most sorrowful of hearts.

  Ama's parents, Kwame Antoapomaa and Abena Adjei were proud of their daughter and all that she represented. They had always known that Ama Mary was destined for greatness, and they had high hopes for her future.

Black 

Black, the color of deep meaning and the unknown,

Boundless depth, secrets u shown

Alluring shade, complex and deep 

Emotions hidden within

Love on a limited budget

  This morning, I went to a pharmacy to buy drugs for my mom. I saw two guys, and one was buying drugs for his girlfriend.  He complained that his girlfriend doesn't like eating, which causes her ulcer, so he needs drugs for that. The prices of each medicine were much higher than his expectations. He suggested that he would buy paracetamol for his girlfriend, which earned him laughter from us. The pharmacist asked him whether paracetamol is what one takes when they have an ulcer.  The man chose one drug that cost 18ghc, but was persuaded by the pharmacist to take one that cost 20ghc. With a long face, he went ahead, but only on the condition that the pharmacist would change the price of the medicine to 50ghc, thinking that he would show it to his girlfriend to make her aware of how much this one medicine cost him. Though the pharmacist refused, the man went ahead and did it himself.  When exiting the pharmacy shop, he complained to his friend about being out of cash ...

LOST BUT FOUND

 DZOKOE FAFALI  BACS27145   That day was different. The scorching of the sun was out of say. Human beings cannot even lodge within their own compound. It was usual to see animals like lizard, birds, ants, mouse, hen , goats, sheep and all domestic animals around, but that day was different. You can barely hear the sound of anything. Viewing from afar is another problem. Wondering what the cause is , but no solution. It came to mind all of a sudden to fetch water from the river side. Not as usual as I used to do in the afternoons, but I have no idea why that afternoon. On my way, even the grasses along side wasn’t shaking. I can only hear my own footsteps. Upon reaching, I had some thought. Is there a day like this? Why should it be today? Why not another time of my life?
