Africa, our home(BACS27209)

On the 20th May,2024,Monday at the creative writing class(10am-1pm),there was a very pretty girl dressed gorgeously in an African wear. she put on an African print top known as "kaba",with African beads on her wrist and neck and with a piece of scarf known as "duku" tied around her head. The African identity is a treasure trove of pride, resilience, and cultural diversity. Being African is a unique experience that shapes our perspectives, influences our beliefs, and defines our identity. Our cultural diversity is a strength, allowing us to learn from and appreciate different traditions and ways of life. We have a rich heritage, with significant contributions to human history, from ancient civilizations to modern-day achievements. Africans have demonstrated remarkable resilience in the face of adversity, overcoming centuries of colonization, slavery, and oppression. Our sense of community is strong, with a emphasis on family, social bonds, and supporting one another. We take care of each other, celebrate our successes together, and provide a safety net in times of need.
